Steamed beef curry bites

Ingredients

  • 1 & 2/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sunflower oil
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 12 oz ground beef
  • 7 oz celery
  • 35 cilantro leaves
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce

Recipe

For the dough:

1 Using a food processor with the kneading attachment, pour the flour and salt, then add the boiling water.

2 After 5 minutes, add the oil and knead again.

3 Cover the dough and let it sit for 5 minutes.


For the stuffing:

4 Chop the cilantro and dice the celery.

5 Mix the meat and curry, vinegar and soy sauce.

6 Cut the dough in half and roll it into two sausage shapes, then cut each one into 10 pieces.

7 Roll the 20 pieces into balls.

8 Using a large oiled spatula, flatten the little balls into circles.

9 Place some stuffing in the center of each circle and fold them in half.

10 Pinch and fold into a zig-zag.

11 Steam for 6 minutes, then pan-fry them with butter to brown them.

 

 

Tip: You can make variations with shrimp or fish.
